The second round of the council’s collective switching campaign, Energy Deal, will launch on 10 December. The scheme enables households to group together to harness their buying power and aims to negotiate lower fixed price electricity and gas tariffs on their behalf.
The last campaign, which was promoted across four districts in Kent, attracted nearly 2500 participants and saved online customers an average of £100 a year on their fuel bills.
The more households signed up the better our chances of securing a competitive energy deal for those taking part.
From next week, households are invited to register online at www.energydealswitch.com.
For Tunbridge Wells borough residents, support is also available for offline registration via a dedicated number and the Gateway, Tunbridge Wells. The registration phase will close on 17 February 2014.
